How it works:
The pipe fitting is secured onto the rotary fixture. More Consistent Welding Speed: During manual welding, it is difficult to maintain a perfectly uniform rotation speed, which can cause fluctuations in weld width and penetration depth. A rotary fixture ensures a constant rotational speed, resulting in highly uniform and stable welds.

Solution 2: Handheld Laser Welder with Rotary Axis Fixture
In many real-world pipe welding scenarios, customers do not necessarily require fully automated mass-production equipment and may want to control initial investment costs. For larger pipe sizes, pipe repairs, small-batch processing, or highly varied product specifications, a highly flexible handheld laser welding solution is often the better fit.
Compared to automated platforms, handheld laser welding systems feature lower initial costs and greater operational flexibility, accommodating pipes of various sizes and structures. However, relying purely on manual rotation during the welding process can lead to several challenges:

Compared to fully manual welding: It offers much easier operation, more stable welding speeds, better weld consistency, and higher overall efficiency.
Compared to fully automated platforms: It requires a lower investment, occupies a smaller footprint, and is ideal for small-to-medium-sized factories.
